Talaat Maximous, MD

Dr. Talaat Maximous of CMH Orthopedic Service, is board certified by the American Board of Neurological and Orthopedic Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Maximous received his medical degree from Ain Shams University Medical School in Cairo, Egypt and completed a rotating Internship at Ain Shams University Hospital in 1975. In 1976, he moved to New York and completed two years of a Surgical Residency at St. Clair’s Hospital and Medical Center. He received his Physical Medicine and Rehab Residency and his Orthopaedic Residency training from Kings County Hospital and SUNY – Downstate University Hospital of Brooklyn, N.Y.

Dr. Maximous has expertise in joint replacement, sports injury management, trauma and fracture treatment, as well as orthopedic treatment of geriatric patients.
