On May 5, 2010 the Nursing Professional Development Council, at Community Memorial Hospital (CMH), presented the Excellence in Nursing Awards to three deserving members of the Nursing department.  Peggy Kinker, RN was the recipient of the Alice Tudor Registered Nurse Award, Fawn Fitz, LPN was the recipient of the Carol Love Licensed Practical Nurse Award, and Phyllis Cavan was the recipient of the Dee McMillian care partner award.

 These dedicated members of the nursing staff were nominated and the nominations were scored strictly on merit of what this person has done for the nursing profession at CMH and in the community.  A reception was held following the ceremony so CMH employees could offer their congratulations.
