Family Fun Day Scheduled for September 4th
Raising Dollars for Health Education Programs
About the Event: The Park View High School Class of 1970, along with the Community Memorial Healthcenter (CMH) Auxilary and the American Legion Post 79 are conducting a fundraiser, Family Fun Day, with proceeds to benefit CMH Health Education Programs. We are extremely proud they recognize the health challenges facing our society today and are willing to help us address those challenges through more and better Health Education Programs. Sponsorship Opportunities: Family Fun Day at Parker Park in South Hill will feature a 2 mile fun run/walk and other activities for the entire family. Sponsorships are needed to help make this a very successful event. All funds for this effort are being received by the CMH Foundation. Sponsorship opportunities are available on the following levels:
Event Sponsorship - $1000 - As an event sponsor, your organization's name will be listed on event banners, each souvenir event t-shirt, on event signage and in pre-event and post-event publicity. Your organization will also be formally recognized at the check presentation. Corporate Sponsorship - $500 - As a Corporate sponsor, your organization's name will be listed on each event shirt, on event signage and in pre-event and post-event publicity. Note: Sponsorships will be grateful accepted until September 3, 2010. However, in order to have your organization listed in event signage, we must receive your completed sponsorship agreement by noon on August 18, 2010.

Join other local motorcycle enthusiasts for a benefit motorcycle ride hosted by Community Memorial Healthcenter’s T.R.E.E. (Employee Giving) Committee on Saturday, September 11, 2010 (Rain date - September 18). Registration begins at 9:00 AM at the CMH Cancer & Rehab Centers, 750 Lombardy Street in South Hill.
The ride begins at 10:00 A.M. from Lombardy Street and riders will travel through beautiful Lake County.
The ride is routed along approximately 80 miles of beautiful country roads stretching from Lake Gaston to Kerr Lake. There will be rest stops along the way. The ride will conclude at the picnic area at John H. Kerr Dam, where lunch will be provided, courtesy of Wilson Brothers' Barbecue. Cost is only $25 per bike and rider; the fee is just $15 for an additional rider on the bike.
T.R.E.E. is CMH’s employee giving program. All proceeds from this event will benefit Emergency
Department patient equipment needs.
