Monday, May 21, 2012 - Park View Students Support CMH

Park View High School’s Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) students recently presented CMH with a check of $400.00 to support their Radiation Oncology expansion. The students raised the money by setting up a table in the school cafeteria and asking fellow students and faculty members for their spare change. They called their fundraiser “Change for Cancer”. Patricia Urda, CNA instructor explained, “Our students complete the clinical portion of their CNA class at CMH and on one of our trips to the hospital they saw the thermometer progress sign in front showing how much money has been raised. It inspired them to contribute.”
